Terms of Service

A tool that downloads a video you point it at, transcribes it, suggests and renders short vertical clips from it, and — if you ask it to — publishes those clips to platforms you've connected. It's provided as-is, and functionality can change as the service develops.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your account credentials to yourself. Tell us immediately if you think your account has been accessed by someone else — Security settings lets you end every other session at once.

You keep whatever rights you already have in the videos, images, sounds and text you submit. You grant us only what's needed to do the job: to download, store, transcribe, analyze and transform your submitted content into clips, and to transmit a clip to a destination you choose to publish it to.

You are solely responsible for having the right to use, re-render and re-publish whatever source video you submit. Clipper Studio does not verify ownership or license terms. Re-uploading someone else's stream without permission is a copyright matter between you and them — and platforms respond to it by striking the account that posted it, which can be yours. Don't submit video you don't have the right to use this way.

We can remove content or suspend an account in response to a credible copyright complaint or a violation of these terms.

Clip selection and cut points are suggested by an AI model reading the transcript. It gets things wrong sometimes — a cut that lands in the wrong place, a moment that doesn't land the way it scored. Review a clip in the editor before you publish it; we don't guarantee the output is accurate, appropriate, or ready to post without a look first.

Publishing to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram or X is subject to that platform's own terms, community guidelines and API limits — we don't control and aren't responsible for their decisions about your content, including visibility, moderation, or account actions they take independently of us. Two things worth knowing going in: an unaudited YouTube API project has uploads forced to private regardless of what you request, and TikTok apps that haven't passed content-posting review can only post as private ("only me"). We show you what was actually applied, not just what was requested.

Don't use Clipper Studio to process content that's illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to use. Don't try to interfere with the service, abuse the API, or access another user's account or data.

This is an independently built, actively developed service. We don't promise a particular uptime, and features can change or be removed. We'll try to give notice of anything that breaks a workflow you depend on.

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of it — including any action a third-party platform takes on an account you connected.

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your data at any time — see Data Deletion. We can suspend or end an account for a violation of these terms.

If these terms change materially, the "last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use Clipper Studio after that means you accept the update.
