About Clipper Studio

Clipper Studio is a tool for turning a long stream VOD into a handful of short, vertical clips worth posting on their own — without spending an evening scrubbing through hours of footage to find them.

Paste a link and it downloads the video, transcribes it word by word, and reads that transcript to score windows on hook, context and payoff — the shape a clip needs to work without the rest of the stream around it. The candidates it picks get rendered as captioned 9:16 clips, and you land in an editor built around the transcript itself: click a line to set an in-point, drag a handle on the waveform, nudge a frame at a time. Nothing costs a render pass until you save.

From there a clip can publish straight to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram or X — to as many connected accounts as you like, with a rule that stops the same clip going out twice to the same one by accident.

It's an independently built project, still early. The core pipeline — download, transcribe, find moments, render, edit, publish — works end to end today; what's rougher around the edges gets sanded down as it's used for real. If something breaks or reads wrong, say so.

One thing worth being upfront about: Clipper Studio doesn't check whether you have the right to re-post a given VOD — that's on you. Re-uploading someone else's stream without permission can get your own accounts struck by the platform you post it to. Only run clips of streams you have the rights to use.
